Todd Carroll moved to Vancouver in 1999 to pursue
his acting and singing career. Todd started training
immediately and has continued to train intensively
for the past 6 years. Todd opened an acting studio in
2001 where actors could train with various instructors
with different techniques. This was called Granville
Actors Studio. Todd closed the studio in 2005 as he decided
to put more focus on his own acting and singing
career.
In the last 6 years Todd has had roles in several independent shorts and starred in two features. Todd's passion is film and television and although he is an excellent dramatic actor his quick wit and humor would be perfect for any comedy. Todd has dabbled in stand up in the past playing at Yuk Yuks and other comedy clubs and intends to pursue his stand up and improv.
Todd has been singing most of his life and has fronted several bands in the lower mainland such as; "The Salty Dogs", "Home Invasion", " Out of the Blue" and currently sings with a classic rock band called "Eight Count". He has also done many guest appearances, standing in with other local bands that have needed his skill as a lead singer and frontman. At one time Todd was singing in three different bands in the lower mainland, as Todd really knows how to get the audience going.
Todd's acting resume, headshots, and band pictures are available to view on this site. For a taste of Todd's versatile and explosive voice listen to some of his songs.
